why dont you just manually let your car idle instead of havting to buy one?

Because sometimes, it's not fun to wait in your car for 10-15 minutes when you have stuff to do.

Only thing I can really think of is some of them come with extra features. Mine has a voltage gauge. Some come with AF gauges, performance meters, ect.

They will all let your car idle the same.

i have a blitz FATT

it doesnt really matter in my opinion unless you want some type of extra feature

like the blitz FATT dual type has a built in boost gauge

15 minutes!!11???1?!!?

If your car cant cool down to a reasonable level in 2-minutes you've got hoes.

whats really fun is the BIG ball bearing Turbos (T51 ect) where you can hear the turbo spooling down after the car is off... now that I think about it hearing turbo spool is fun any time.

All of them are the same. I Like my Pivot because its simple... and blue...

I leave mine set on 0:30 unless I do some hard driving. Then I just up it to like 2:30. The most I do is like make a run to about 100-120 and then just take it back to reasonable speeds. If I did a canyon run, I would give it 4-5min.

Just use any one that has the features you want.

Funny story though, a friend of mine had no problems with a cheap no name timer, then bought an MR2 with a fancy GReddy one and that freaked out one night. Turned on the lights, indicators, the car was off but it was just sitting there counting down.

I hate the greddys... they play that gay ass cell phone tune every time you turn it on or off.

I can't complain about my HKS. It just emits a beep when I turn it on or off. Unless I'm doing a compression test. Then it gets annoying until I turn it off.

lolz sure a front wheel drive wheel spin monster would best faster then a 240 with the same power on the street tires on the street, sure fat chance.

anyways i never ran on a turbo timer, since i have a T4, its kinda laggy, and when i'm almost at my destination, i just drive the car around calmly and not hit boost, by the time i get to my parking spot, i can shut the car right off, since i never boosted, the turbo was aways at, or near idle speed. its pretty cool too that when i shut my car, i can hear the turbo whin down.

I have the Blitz FATT dual timer. I absolutely love it. It has a built-in boost gauge, but reads it in Kpa.
