Exhaust

I recently did an ls/vtec done on my car and was wondering if i could put a gsr exhaust system on my car. The only conflict with this is that im not sure if the 02's will line up or be in the correct position. Also which is the largest and most performance wise size should i put.

yea why would u want to put a stock gsr exhaust on ur car?

in my humble opinion you should probably go with aftermarket exhasut designed for your car. By the time you get done with the fabrication that this is probably going to take it may end up costing similar numbers any way. You could also make custom exhaust by just buying the piping , getting a high flow cat and a good aftermarket muffler. Take it to a muffler shop and they'll hook you right up(make sure you get mandrelbends though).

But if you have your heart set on gsr exhaust then go for it.

I was under the impression that a gs-r exhaust was the same as ls/rs/gs. If you want a better flowing OEM exhaust get a type R exhaust. It will be slightly more free flowing and will have a nicer sound to it. And I believe it will bolt right up.

I believe what he is asking is that he has done an ls/vtec conversion and he is trying to buy an aftermarket exhaust but he doesn't know if he needs to buy an exhaust that fits a gsr or an ls.

what im saying is, i purchased a dc header 4-2-1 a pc. and was shipped the gsr header by mistake. i was wondering if i could just go gsr exhaust all the way back. the only problem that i have come across is the hole for the o2 sensor is not in the gsr header. i have been told that it will line up if i get a aftermarket gsr cat and exhaust. i just need to know if there is a way i can put the o2s in.
