Heater Control & Stereo Lights Out

The lights on my radio and heater/AC controls do not go on in my 1997 Tahoe. I have also noticed that my engine temp guage is not working.

Funny, since the radio and heater controls work fine, just the lights don't go on. Also, the radio display is working fine, just not the button lights.

My cd player is also now reading "err". It takes the disc and then spits it out a few seconds later.

Can anybody tell me what could be causing this problem? Thanks for your assistance.

Maybe a stupid question but did u check all your fuses?

I started loosing the button lites 1 by 1, now only P.Scan, FF, and #1 light up. this is common with delco stock radio's. The unit should still operated fine, just not illuminated. As for the heater buttons, I don't know.

Can the lamps/bulbs be changed on the Delco radios????? Any idea how
to get the radio buttons off to possibly change the lamps/bulbs???? I have look other places on the Net without any answers.
