im looking for a new car and am considering a celica, but dont know if its right for me. i test drove a supra that i thought i wanted, but it was too smooth. i got to 60 without realizing it. i decided i want a car like my sentra, just more powerful. a car that feels the road, and can take hard turns that youll feel, and i also want something powerful in the low gears since i drive in the city and never really go past 40. 0-30 is more important to me than taking off while going 60. ive read a little about the older celicas(2 generations before the current one), and am wondering how the gt and all trac models are. do you think it would be worth it for me to check out some celicas? if this car really doesnt fit what im looking for, then ill keep on looking because its hard to find a car like that.

If most of your driving is done around a city, forget the all-trac, the turbo will never have time to spool up and become effective, so you wont feel the benifits, also the all-trac isnt the most economical car around town, dont expect much more than 200miles from a full tank (town driving) + high running costs. The GT should be fine though, not as much power but a better "town" car

go for a 00+ gts if you really lookin...and nialusa ur turbo may not be but ur turbo is different than the one in the 5th gen all tracks, there usually at full spool by 2250... boost starts at around 1500...its a small turbo than urs and spools ALOT faster just not as efficient
