Passenger side keyhole

From a 1993 Rodeo:

Has anyone have this problem where the keyhole on the passenger door would come off leaving you with a gaping hole? I took off my panel and I see the damn thing hanging inside between the window....I thought I could screw it back on, but its seems like the plastic that was holding it up, wore off so now I cant even put the lock back on without coming off again once I use the key to open the door....it looks like you have to use some strong glue to keep the keyhole mechanism in its place....any ideas?

I havn't been inside a Rodeo door, but I would guess that there is some sort of spring clip holding the lock in place that has broken/fallen off. Look in the bottom of the door for parts that may have come off.
