i want to get a b20 block and mix it with a b18c1 head and put on a gsr tranny would it improve my performance for my integra 96" an info and also whats the differences with a stock ls mototr and a stock gs-r motor?

if you already have an ls b18b why don't you just put the b18c head on that and go ls/vtec? It would be a waste to buy a b20 block if you have the ls motor already.

or save the money all together and put a turbo kit on the ls motor.

but why ls is it faster or more powerful in some way, then gsr

a turbo ls would be much faster than a stock gsr

A B20/VTEC is a nice combo if you plan on staying naturally aspirated. I ran a B20/VTEC with .5MM over wiseco's, eagle rods, ported ITR head, crower 402's, DC 4-1 header, B16 trans and a good tune with Hondata. It took my heavy EK to mid 12's at 108-109 on 22" slicks, and was a pretty fun car on the street. Ran great on pump gas, idled well, and still got good mileage. The B20 block is a good choice over the LS for a N/A application because you get the larger bore size for more displacement.

I was then, however, consumed by the dark side of the turbo :cool:
