hinge noise

when i open and close my door, it makes that clink clunk noise, what should i do to fix this...i tried lubricating but maybe i put the grease in the wrong area

Use white-lube white lithium grease in a spray can. Spray it on the hinge pins and latches. If that doesn't do it you may need to replace the hinge pin bushings.

I think it's your roller and spring.Spray them down with lithium grease.Do not use WD40,it is a degreaser.
