I have a 1992 plymouth voyager and it just up and quit on me while driving. You can hear the fuel pump come on and the starter engages. there was no spark coming from the coil so I changed it and it still isn't starting. I tried a new wire but that didn't help either. Can someone please HELP ME with this. I don't know what's wrong?? Is there fuses under the hood? is there a coil relay or fuse that I'm missing? If so where is it located....?It has a 3.0L engien automatic

Your Ignition system consists of two signals that go to the ECM. The ECM controls the spark/coil.
1. The crankshaft position sensor (CPS) is used to to find TDC of number 1 cylinder. If no signal, out of time - no spark. Located on front end of motor by crankshaft. This is the most common reason for no spark.
2. The distributor has six magnets on the rotating shaft and a one magnetic pickup on the housing for sending a signal. Possible causes are bad pickup in the distributor or a broken wire.
