These are some updates on my OOOOLLLLDDDD thread.

These are my red Motorxam Civic Si coupes. One is stock, the other is JDM style. It is lowered, on "Rota Slipstreams", has CTR headlights, and has the H removed, as well as the "yellow" JDM foglights.

Here is my yellow Civic Si, it was extremely modded before. But now it's right hand drive! The interior paint is showing age.

My 1/18 HW Civic. Was already highly modded. If HotWheels did a contest on these, I think I'd have it, or be pretty close, itwent from RICE to NICE.

It now sports different wheels, the JDM folding mirrors, and also the engine was changed. The stock engine was too big to scale, and I found their Integra engine perfect, so I bought one, took the engine, mirrors, and wheels, then returned it for another unmolested Integra.

In the yellow Civic, I suggest stripping the interior paint, using a white primer, then repaint it not using a brush.

u got it right, good job !

i dont understand HW and their Tuner crap anymore. whatsup with the flame paint job on some of these cars? hotrod posers ? and then the hotwheel banner xcross the hood. same thing with jada. all that crappy decals and fancy paint jobs gotta go. these ppl are turning the import scene into billboards. when is the last time you see someone pull up in an M3 with a flame job and tuner decals all over the car ?

Thanks.

The original thread with these cars in like 8-9 pages back, so you can compare them then/now. Like i said, the HW civic was pretty much done, except the wheels, mirrors, and engine. But even then, there's a big difference.

Slips = Use stock motormax Si wheels, and shave the spokes, and paint. Perfect Slips.

Just to see, incase noone saw the old thread.

This was almost stock.

It has the S2000 seats, and steering wheel in this pic, as well as the divorced wastegate. But still has the ricer paint, ect.

This was with the new paint. But still has orginal rims, mirrors and grille.

Of course now:

The engine stock (A Turbo DOHC VTEC, that I detailed)

Now, of course. Non-turbo DOHC VTEC, better proportioned from HotWheels Integra.

And the rear, if you didn't see it. De-Riced to stock 99-00 tails.

Well the ones I have are original releases, stock looking ones, IF, big IF you find it, its only about 6 bucks.

Motormax still makes them, but the new releases are riced out of the box, and cost about 10 bucks. You'll have to paint the new ones to make them look clean.
