Idiot Lights On Dash

I have a 85 S10 Blazer and need to know what the lights mean that are located between the speedometer and tachometer. I have one that is lit up on the top left side and looks like a N. Could some one please let me know what these lights stand for. I don't have a owners manual and this is my first S10.

That N (as well as the others) are your gear settings. If these lights arent coming on when you turn the key to the run position you should pull your cluster and replace the bulbs (about 6 or 8 of them)

I own a built for Canada 85 Blazer auto 4x4, and I don't have those lights. My shifter position indicator is a slide indicator at the bottom right side of the insterments if I remember correctly. Although I never really pay atention to the position.
