diferential swap

i have a 1995 gmc k1500 and i want to swap in a 1980 k30 one tone rear the universals look the same but i dont want to ri it out just to find it wont work any body know if it will or know of any swap guides .thanks in advanced. :2cents: :banghead: :licka:

call a local bone yard tell them what u have and you need they have substitution books. you may have to call a few before some one will be willing to help you but they can do it if they want to.

easyer way to find out just buy a new rear u joint and try it in the new rear end
