engine problem

Hey I got a 97 v6 stang and having some trouble with it. It seems that when I have the heating system on and I'm stopped at a light the car starts to idle very fast and then like a minute after it goes back to it's normal idle speed. Can anyone help me out with what the problem might be. Thanks
