I'm going to replace the sparkies myself. Can anyone tell me whether I'd be screwed if I just bought the cheapest ones? Also anyone think that the KNN air filters are worth the $?

now why would you put cheap plugs in an X5 i mean the difference is so minimal on a car like, that, its amazing people go out and pay money for such expensive cars and then cheap out on maintaining it, then go on forums and say "well i had this car and it did not run good, wasted alot of gas, i was not happy with it" meanwhile they put the junkiest parts in it so save a couple of bucks........amazing then with these cheap plug in it lets put a K&N filter on it to get more performance out of it....amazing

You dont need the best of the best plugs. Get decent ones. Personally I think the 4 pring plugs are stupid. Ide just stick with the single prong (Ifogrget the name of the prong itsself) Ide say some bosch platnums are fine. Also if you want to do it correctly the tourque on the plugs is 30 ft pounds. And remember to put the ground cables back on. There on the front and the rear of the plugs.
