A few months ago my 4wd stopped working. The 4wheel high doesn't try to engauge at all (no lights no nothing) the 4 wheel low light blinks for a few seconds but never engauges. I have replaced the vaccum lines, cables, encoder or shift motor, and the switch. I would welcome ANY advice on this matter. thanks in advance

As it turns out a short in the switch across the 2hi connector will also burn out the tccm. New switch and tccm and I have 4wd back. Thanks to all.

Did you have to replace both parts? Where did you get these parts from?

I have a lot of good parts left over that I didn't need. sort of the trial and error thing. If you can email a list of parts that you need I will try to locate them. [email protected]

BlazerLT...where is the 4wd relay on a 94 Blazer 4x4? I can't see one behind the glove box or under the dash in that area. There is one under the hood on the pass side firewall...could that be it? As always, thanks for the help.

TCCM is what you are looking for ???

Sure, it's okay. Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure where the ecm or the tccm is on this vehicle. When the 4wd tries to work I hear a clicking from the pass side, but can't find anything. Lately, I can only get the 4wd switch to do anything is by moving the veh back and forth in the driveway. Tried the battery trick...no joy.

I will have to run the error codes when I can get a chance to. It has been raining here since monday. Either a TCCM or an encoder motor. Do you have any or can you take some pics of these parts? So I know what I am looking for

Checked the error codes from the ALDL connector. I got 2 flashes from the 4WD switch. I it is a bad encoder motor. Thanks for all the help. I will have to order one now. I will let you guys know what happens.
