You can get a really nice car for 8500. You can probably find an built LT1 or an early LS1. Just keep looking, because sometimes you can find someone that doesn't know what they are selling. I've seen some really nice cars for less than 8K. Hit the classifieds, or local trading papers, maybe you can find someone that just wants you to take over their payments.

Well , I just hit it up with a new msd ignition system , had the tranny overhauled , changed up some internals , put a exhaust / oil / air -fuel / temp guage set in it. managed to find some 9 mm wires too.

So yeah , the price stays the same the more I put into it. I just want to get rid of this car so I can get one that is obsolete to emissions and trick it with a 400 sb that's sitting in my friends garage collecting dust.

Oh , just put a new holley 650 cfm tbi unit on it too.
