Went to get my safety done last night and the mechanic told me I need a "Rear Stabilizer Bar" on both sides...a what? When I called around for one today they had no idea what I'm talking about...I described it and Honda said it was the "rear upper arm"...a what?

It was describe to me as one piece of metal, with a "bolt through" bushing on one end and a "body" bushing on the other end and that it is about 8" long and that they are notorious for going bad on Honda's???
This may be dumb but I can't look for a part if I don't have a freakin' clue what to call it!?!? HELP!

it's called a rear upper arm for your suspension. It's basically the arm on your rear suspension that controls the camber for your tires. And yes the bushings to wear out on them. But only after like 200,000 miles like everything else. You might be able to pick them up at a junk yard for cheap, or buy a nice rear camber kit that replaces that whole arm. I think that's what I would do. Hit me up if you are interested.

can't you just replace the bushings? or is the stabilizer bar actually bent or something? i think we were talking about replacing bushings and how it could be done but was a pain, earlier...

You CAN get them from the junk yard or put aftermarket arms on it - and I know I can get them too you for way less than $90 each.

The bushing's from Honda are like $50 each...and the bar itself with the bushing's is $90...which would you replace?

4G4D: I tried all over the local junk yards...some as many as two hours away...nada. They all said that the Si had heavier ones and they don't have any Si's in their inventory. As far as aftermarket's...I haven't found any at any local dealer...and I've called at least 6-8 different places that all said "dealer only"
