This has been posted on a different forum, but some of you guys may not have heard. Heller will be releasing a 1/24 and 1/43 Peugeot 307WRC this year in April.

Thanks for the great info !
Good to see this french manufacturer still holding strong in making fairly detailed, yet well priced cars that can look good with some extra stuff...
Wish it were a bit nicer real car tho...
Olivier
Still it's good news for us WRC builders...
We have now the 04 focus (coming out from hasegawa), the 04 Impri (from tamiya) and the 04 Xsara (O3 version from Heller + decals), and now this one...
And I don't think we need that ugly Mitsi anyway

Eh eh! News are travelling fast! :D
If Tamiya doesn't realease one too, this one promises to sell well!...
Let's wait till April now for the Kit Review...

Of course you do! Think of all the 2005 possibilities!
THe 1/43 scale is the one I'll get first and then will wait for some aftermarket decals for the bigger one.

Yeah so many possibilities Alex. :)
I wonder if those pics are accurate for the decals. 1/43rd gets the Acropolis whilst 1/24th has to settle for Monaco again, not fair. Doesn't matter, I'd want to convert it to Finland anyway!
The 1/24th scale Mustang would be impressive too.

I certainly will. I'm currently getting the pictures from autozone.com.
Hey, Phil, I did some spoke counting, and found one picture of the car from Finland where it had old-type gravel wheels. Guess that may save you some headache.

Peugeot Sport UK (http://www.bothwellphoto.com/peug04WRCfinland.htm) and Pirelli Rallyzone (http://www.rallyzone.com/photoslist.asp?rallyName=Rally+Of+Finland&folder=2004-Finland), as well as Marcus Gronholm Rallying (http://www.mgr.fi/) are some of the best for action shots. World Rally Collection Magazine is the best source for details. :)

Tamiya aren't going to give us a 307 or an Xsara so who cares about them! :)

Yeah, Peuget used both types of wheel at Finland '04. Would be cool to get hold of some of those new ten spokers in scale, but the regular gravel type will do just fine. :)

Oh yes! As well as the 10-spoke tarmac wheels (ones that have the spokes split at the very tips). I think the 10-spokers suit this car best.

Hello,
Does anyone knows original paint number for that red color? I have difficulties to get Tamiya spray paints.

You could try an automotive paint like Ferrari Rosso Scuderia, paint code 323 (off the top of my head). It is supposed to be similar to the F1 Ferrari team red. Being corporate Marlboro it should be the same.

I used MoTip 41530 (Ferrari 312) and i think that's ok color. Good enough for me 307 pics (http://www.fcma.fi/Kuvat/index.php?folder=/Kayttajat/Petri%20Piira/Heller%20-%20Peugeot%20307/).
