Should be lots of room, but be sure to build the box to the speaker specifications.

Just out of curiosity, is there a reason you're thinking you wouldn't be able too? There's a ton of room back there, especially if you make a custom enclosure out of fibreglass. Are you thinking you won't have enough room, or just worried about sound quality issues?

If you are concerned about space, fabricate a back board and mount them up behind the rear seat (if your seats fold down, even better) Use the trunk as a box. When I did my Beretta, I had 4 12" subs in the trunk in an enclosure that resembled an "M" if you looked at it from above. The outside subs faced in from the side of the vehicle and the two in the center faced the outside two subs. When the seat folded down you could see all the subs. I replaced the trunk weatherstripping with a thicker molding to make the trunk air tight. As far as the amps, I built a tray for the rear deck to conceal them (I had problems with theft in the apartment I was living in) I had two amps in the tray (one ran the subs, the other the mids and highs). Had cooling fans mounted on each side and then a tray that mounted over top of the amp tray to conceal it all. (I used fabric speaker mesh tightly mounted around an MDF frame. To look into the back window tray you would never know a system was in the car and it only raised the height of the rear tray about 2".

In my '01 GA GT I have the back seats folded down, the amp sits on the big seat and my speaker box is pushed all the way up. It sits inside the car just a little bit.
