2004 LT Rear Window Washer Fluid

Does anyone know if there is a separate reservoir for the rear window washer fluid? I checked and filled the tank under the hood but still don't get any fluid to the rear window.

I have looked through the manual  and don't see any reference to one. I'm trying to avoid a trip to the dealer for this.

Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

I have a 02 Trailblazer and there's no seperate reservoir on mine. It does take a while for the fluid to get back there though. Just hold the button in till it starts to spray. Guess it's just has a long hose to go through before it gets all the way to the back of the vehicle.

Thanks for the reply, Porch.

I also had an '02 LTZ which only one fluid tank. This time I'm a bit curious, though, because it worked when it was new.

I will try your suggestion. It's possible the fluid has backed up a bit from non-use and just needs a little more time.

'03 LTZ and it only has one tank. Definitely hold the button. The trick is to not run it dry...but I'm sure you learned that one now. ;)

I own a 2004 TB LT and am sure that it only has 1 washer fluid reservoir. It is under the front hood and serves both front and rear wipers.I am wondering if there is a kink in the thin rubber line that snakes back to the rear wiper...It is true that it can take a few prolonged attempts to get the "goosh-goosh" back there, especially if it was run dry.~Good Luck~

When our 2003 LT rear washer stopped working, I found a kink in the washer feed that runs along the wiper arm.

I just straightened the line and the fluid flowed! :)

I have had a couple of cases where the nozzle was plugged up. Unplug the hose on the wiper arm where it connects to fitting on the hatch and see if it works.

I would fill up the tank for better flow. Happened to me before where only the front worked. After filling up, the rear operated fine.

It's kinda' funny that as soon as I post a helpful suggestion on the rear washer problem,I ran into the very same situation myself!!!! I fixed it by sliding the spray nozzle, which is held onto the rear wiper arm by a plastic clip, towards the top end of the arm and this in turn, un-kinked the rubber fluid hose which feeds the nozzle...It should slide rather easily, and due to this, I believe that it may possibly happen again, but not a tough fix at all, so I am not going to sweat it...I still love my "Lumberjack Cadillac"!!!!
