95 Cav - New Thermostat - Now Check Engine Light

Just replaced the thermostat in my 95 Cavalier.

Car now heats up to normal range, and interior heat works again, but now my check engine light comes on after driving a few minutes, and cooling fan kicks in...

Any ideas?????

take it to autozone or wherever and get the code read. I can't really call upon anything with that..
