Werent they built to replace or compete with the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia? I remember reading something about the 2 in an artice not oo long ago, but I forget why it was there.

How about car with the longest hood ever...geez man. look at that thing...its like 70 ft. long..

They wanted to make it mid engined... so they put the engine in front of the driver anyway. :) The car was bloody fast though, 200mph I believe was quite possible.

i thought it was a covette stingray with some wild conversion on the front end.
