well i recently jus lost 1 of my hatches..my fav one 2 my 90...was in an accident on ice someone tapped me from behind n slid me into a curb right fromt went up on the curb n my car is lowered on coilovers, well did frame damage radiator leaks n now the car dont run right cant pop the hood to even check n there s bout 3500 dollars worth of frame damage done....it dont look bad but aparently frame work aint cheap...it sucks i miss my 90 my 88 hatch is a base model n so slow plus only 4 gears...

Cut hood off, swap everything over

Well ya hatches are heavier than crx's but noone even mentioned a crx. Im just wondering what he was posting about.

guy ran off i was stuck on the curb couldent drive off right front wheel was barly touchin curb was high...n i couldent push it off had to wait for my boi to come by n we jacked it up n pushed it off....

I agree. Angle grind the hood off and swap all of your motor components over to the STD. If your suspension isn't too damaged you could swap that over as well.. Just take it one step at a time.
