I'm not even sure If this is the right forum to post this at, but its a form of racing on wheels...

I had a few friends over with dirtbikes, 4wheelers, and a go-kart. After chillin for some time I asked my friend Matt if he wanted to race. He was up for it, so I said "Lets go...bitch." Matt has a Yamaha YZ125L 4-Stroke. I've raced my friends YZ125 2-Stroke and got raped by it, by bus lengths, by second gear he was a car length ahead (we were racing on a paved road, and drag raced, we got to about 65-70..)

So, we line up, and I had another friend flag us down. Another friend waited 1/8 of a mile down further to declare the winner...

So we both revved up, and my friend dropped his arms, I accidently let the cluth out too fast, and almost stalled the damn thing out, so i quick pulled the clutch back in, brought the revs higher, and pulled a tiny wheelie, Matt jumped a foot or two ahead, with his better launch, but second gear is my pulling gear, by the end of first we were neck-an-neck, shifted in second, and it was all over, by the end, in 4th gear he was 2 car lenghts behind.

BTW I have a Yamaha Blaster 2-Stroke, FMF Power Core II Exhaust, FMF Power Core Fatty Pipe, Hole-Shot tires, and a tuned susspension.

Heres my kill list for this:
Honda 150
YZ125L
YZ125L
Kawasaki 250
Probably a few others I forgot about.

Yeah I hear those Blasters are scary fast when you drop the hammer. I also have a YZ-125 2 stroke so I can understand how he beat you. It's a scary machine but so much fun to ride.

Some people will race just about anything... Good thing you don't work at a construction site (I know you don't, because otherwise I would have heard racing stories from that too).

Yeah I used to have a blaster, but I got tired of siezing the engines due to it being too slow. So I bought a Honda 250R and did about 8K worth of aftermarket to it. Then some S.O.B. stole it! But when I did have it, it raped Banshee's, and everything else that came up to it. Damn I miss that bike!

I would have like to race that YZ125L on an open road, where I could really go for it (I had to lock up the front end, because 20 feet after my friend at the end to declare the winner, was a 5 foot drop off into a ditch.

Yea, the Blaster is pretty quick, my worst wreck was a 5th gear flip. Went into a corner to fast, tried to slide around it instead, over corrected, threw my ass off the seat, but I was still holding on, and ended up pulling the Blaster on top of me. I tried to let go, but it landed on top of me, did 3 more end to end rolls, and I just slid on my helmet. Nothing broken, horrible bruises though.

I'll race anything that moves. I remember when I was younger I'd challenge all the kids in my neighoborhood to a bike race (hehe..i'd win with my 21 speed bike)

LOL...This thread makes me feel a little better about myself. I thought I was the only one that thought of doing these kinds of things. I got my friend to race another "friends's" Laser with his Yamaha Raptor...it wasn't pretty. There's a video of it online, let me know if you want me to post it or not.
