cd player problems

I have a 2002 sunfire and left the lights on last week. I didn't pop the cd out when I got a jump and now the cd player won't turn on and I can't get the cd to come out. The radio works just fine though? Can I fix this myself?

Look for the reset button on the deck ( behind the face on the deck itself just big enough to fit a paper clip in.. Hold down for two seconds and then try to power the cd player

if you have the stock radio, it may have locked you out when your bat. went dead. i had to take mine to GM and hook it up to the tec II to unlock it.
