Happy new year to you too.
My recommendation is to read the FAQ, in P-Man's tutorial on polishing paint he covers using the wax too.

I've read the FAQ about using wax, but I've got more doubts now!!
U have to apply compound before wax???
Can use wax only?? and what it means that u have to wipe it off fast? what is fast?? minutes, seconds?
I don't want to throw away a model kit just for the wax, please heeelp!!
It's not urgent, cause I'm not working, but I would like to know.

Ohh another thing, I used grey primer for my yzr 500, and then painted with red, it's so dark, so I want to take off all the paint, how can I do it?? have to sand?? I've heard about alcohol, or brake fluid, somebody can help me???
Thanks a lot!

It tells how to strip paint in the How to/F.A.Q section. You don't have to use compound. You'll get better results though. Apply the wax in a circular motion on the car, wait until it fogs up then, with a clean rag take the wax off in a circular motion. To get the color to not be so dark you have to use a white primer, the only time you don't use white is for black or any other darker color. Hope this helps.

Toni,
Please take the time to read through the FAQ thread on the main car modelling forum page, as well as the other threads marked "important". They might not have the answers for all possible questions, but they certainly will answer both of your questions posted here. I will also move the thread now to the appropriate section and will probably lock it later on as I see no point in repeating what has already been comprehensively covered.

He started a new thread again today for the same, I merged them after Alex moved the new one to the right forum.
