ABS/Service Vehicle/Track Light

Ok....My ABS light on my 00 Grand Am SE would come on every time i turned left (in the summer and fall).....But ever since winter started the ABS, Track, Service Vehicle Soon lights do not come on. Does my car only just like winter or something? Whats up with this? I have been told its a wheel hub assembly that needs to be replaced in the front left, but this is weird...any ideas?

Well, chances are it is a bad wheel speed sensor or wiring to it. For me it happens on very damp/rainy days, less in the winter. My only theory on this is there's more of a chance of really soaking a bad connector on wheel speed sensor and having it short out by driving through a big 'ol puddle of water than driving through snow. Again, this is just my theory though. Until I actually rip mine apart and see what's really happening in there, that's all I have to go with. HTH.
