My daaughter has a 98 Concorde . A few days ago on an expressway, it started to run badly, and in a few seconds , stalled. It was cold, so I assumed a fuel line freeze up. Sure enpigh after sittind for a few minutes ands pumping the throttle, it started and we got some fuel line anti-freeze. Two days later , on a 40 degree night, it did it again. after waiting for a few minutes, it would reluntantly start, and go about a mile and a half (bucking a bit & with the "check engine light" falshing on & off) then quit altogather. after a few minutes it would finally start and get ( running poorly) another mile or so. Finall it started and got us home running well. Two days ago, it did it again. This time I could not get it to start, but when the tow truck came, it started right up for the driver. It is now at a garage & of course they can not get it to stall, so ? There is no fuel filter on this car as far as I can tell any ideas??

Often overlooked and easiest to check - Check to be sure that your batter terminals are CLEAN AND TIGHT! If your battery is as difficult to get to as mine, they are probably not serviced frequently. And the OEM teminals often corrode to a point that they are not able to carry the amperage necessary to run motor. So, I'd make this my FIRST thing to check.

As far as the fuel filter is concerned, it's in your gas tank, so you can't service it. If your fuel pump goes, then that's the time the fuel filter gets serviced.
