I have a 2001 Sierra with about 120,000km on it. Lately when slowing down for intersections the voltage and rpms are dropping and sometimes stalling. As soon as I come to a complete stop they go right back up to where they should be. When it does stall it always starts right back up. One other thing I have noticed is a loss in gas milage and this might be part of it but am not sure. Any sugguestions or hints would be appriciated.
I did read one other problem on here like this and it was the pick up coil and haven't had a chance to check mine yet.
Thanks.

Your truck doesn't have a pickup coil.
Clean the T/B with some cleaner and a soft brush.
There are also some GM TSBs relating to calibration updates for this and also one on that has an adjustment and plug procedure if you have a cable T/B

GMMerlin ,
Could you maybe give a little more info on those TSB's please. I have a 2000 silverado with the cable for the TB and was wondering if this is something that i should check into. Thanks,
Ken

What does tsb stand for? I am a little confused, I know that t/b stands for throttle body but am unsure of the other. Thanks.
