If it is a Quadra-trac, full time 4x4, RUN away! There have been allot of problems with the T-case, then there is the front axle, seems the high milage GC's show alot of wear on the pinion shaft in the diff. As far as the oil leak, it could be either the valve seals, or more involved the rings on the pistons are starting to break down. I would NOT purchase this vehicle, these repairs can get pricy.

I bought a 1994 limited for 2800.00 with 110k recently, and it needed nothing except for a good cleaning. Wait for a better deal.

well as for the quadra-trac, the VC are known to fail, use synthetic lube in it it will keep it from failing, and if the milage is high then chances are it's already been replaced, I paid $3500 for my 94 w/ 183 + (mint condition) and the VC was changed like 3,000 miles before I got it.

if you use synthetic fluids in the Transfer Case and routine maintenence then you shouldn't have to worry about it.
and like CT said 4G's is a lil high could find something a lil cheaper. I
