Where do these wires go

I got three wires by the starter. Two are smaller and black. They go into one wire which bolts onto something. The other is thicker and orange and bolts onto something. They look like ground wires but im not sure. They have like 8 inches of travel, so they cant go far but there is nothing near them. The only thing they fit onto is the power wire for the starter. But that would not make any sense to bolt them onto that unless you guys tell me to.

It is a 2000 Grand Prix automatic 3800 v6. I took out the k-member, motor and trans to replace the trans and i cant figure out where these wires go. I do have a good picture if anyone wants me to email them to you let me know. My email is [email protected]. Thanks for any help.

Also my ABS light is on, SES light is one and it wont go into an gears.
