how can i tell if my engine head is fucked?

got the engine head out theres rust all over the place and water in the cylinder. so is that all i need to knoe that the head is fucked or is there more to it?

you might of just blown a gasket

If you have water in the bores then you could have blown a gasket or even a water jacket, most likely the gasket and you will probably have to have the motor rebuilt as rusty bores are far from good the head will no doubt need some work also!!!
