Degree timing change?

Hey guys, im going to advance the timing(I think thats it) on my truck and was wondering if I did it to my parents maxima would it give them any hp or tq increases on their 03 max? Thanks alot!!

If timing is advanced too much, it will break engine.
Maximas have knock sensor (timing too early, valves knock) and ECU will retard engine. =no use.
Few degrees still could make some difference, I advanced 2.5 degrees, but depends what octane grade u are using. Advanced timing, higher octane. Seek from net about what octane means to engine, interesting...
More help comes from opening intake before filter (as stock are always restricted), changing to less restricting filter. See what I did, and got some rumble & pwr for free...
