washer fluid pump circuit.

I need to know whats involved with this circuit.I have 13.6v at the connector, pump works with 9v applied to it, i found two ground which i cleaned and replaced one ring connector, line are not plugged, fuse is good.Any info will be of geat help.Tks.

is the power you have at the connector only when you press the washer button. From the voltage you quoted, you obviously had the car running.

Yes i did.I bought a low voltage tester, so i can see if the amperage is there also.

My service manual doesn't have crap for a wiring diagram for the intrigue.
But since you have power at the plug and the pump works. Your obvious problem is your ground.

what i found was the switch on the column to be defective.i still had 14.2v and had a light on my low voltage tester.i even took two wires and put them in between the pump and the plug, stripped some insulation off a little and ran a wire to ground to see if the ground was defective.it turned out o.k..just to let you all know.
