fuel system

This may be a simple question...but ive never really considered it before. I bought some fuel system cleaner and im wondering if i should run it through before or after i change the filter? Or does it even matter?

any oppinions would be good...thanks

The fuel system cleaner probably won't dissolve the particulate trapped by the filter. Its mainly designed for the gum and carbon build up in fuel system, so it won't make a difference with regards to the fuel filter itself
