Tire & Wheel question

I have a 2003 BMW 330i with 17x7" wheels (styling 98)

Currently the stock tire that came with this was a 205/50/17 and I would like to keep the stock wheel (17x7") and put 225/45/17 tires on. Is this doable? I appreciate all responses

ok. Tirerack.com answered my questioins. the 225 tire will fit on 7" to 8.5" wheels. :grinyes: so I'll let you guys know how I like the tires I got.
