96 dodge caravan engine fuse circiut

I have a dodge caravan. the fuse for the eingine in the fuse box under the hood blows the min you turn the key on.

Any ideas or wire diagrams available on line so I can trace it down.

It might also be a starter-related problem - does it blow the fuse BEFORE the starter turns over or just when you move the key to the ON position?

It goes the min you turn the key to the on position. Oh thanks for the help so far.It sounds like it has to be somewhere in the ignition circuit. You'll have to swim upstream in this circuit to find the true source of the problem. Check under the dash first, before you take apart the steering column - look around for loose or dangling wires. You'll have to look hard because under the dash is all about junction boxes (large clusters of wires connected together in large common plastic fittings. Sheesh, this could be a PITA, but keep the faith - Good Luck!

It was a short to ground in the main engine harness. Took a while to find it but got her fixed up good as new.
