I have the C68 Electronic Climate Control system. Recently, there was little or no heat output although the heater core was getting hot and the blower was working. I figured it was an air mix problem so did some voltage checks on the AC/Heater control head and found it to be bad.
A new one is on the way but in the course of troubleshooting this problem, I took the ECC Programmer loose from the threaded rod on the mix door (to get to the heater core) and I can't figure out how it's supposed to go back. Hindsight being 20/20, I should have marked it before I took it loose but I didn't.
Do you drive the ECC programmer to full hot or full cold and then put the rod back on? Is there someone out there that knows the proper procedure for adjusting the linkage on this door?
Thanks in advance!
Richie
