Indeed. Amazingly enough, the "small" island of Prince Edward Island, Canada's smallest province, is over 5 times larger than Okinawa. Crazy.

the smallest waist of the island is only 3Km wide, but from top to bottom it takes about 3 hours to drive (naha has bad traffic).... yeah there are a lot of cacti fields here :)
