DEAD....No Power

I have a 95 DeVille. I was driving to work yesterday and the entire dash reset itself. The car didn't stall, the brake light came on for a second. The MPG guage went screwy. When I got to work I shut the car off and tried to restart it. Absolutely no power. The dash wouldn't come on, the dome light didn't even work nor the power locks. After work I tried again and I had power for about a half second. I noticed the clock said 12:09, so I must have had power for 9 minutes before that. I got like a quarter crank out of it and all the power disappeared. In the last 6 months I have replaced the serpentine belt, the water pump, the heater core and the radiator. It's biting my pocket something fierce. I am heading back tonight to see if I get any power attempting to jump it. I have a fear of it being the motherboard or a chip if that makes sense. I know a couple months back i was getting a starter disabled signal acrossed the message board and the hot coolant message from time to time. No power is the main problem nopw, if anyone could help, much appreciated.
