hey guys im a newbie at this whole car restoration. my 83 camaro is in pretty bad shape interior wise. right now im trying to find new seals for my car but the only ones i can find are for the hard top and i have T-tops. there kool but kinda a pain every once and a while like trying to find a head board and general interior. if any of you know where i can find cheap interior stuff for an 83 camaro with t's please don't hesitate. i aslo have a question about motors. now i would love to drop a 350 into my car and i know i can i just have no clue how. i can get the motor thats not a prob but the problem is what do i need to support the 350 i have a few friends that tell me i need springs uni-joints and a whole lot of support for the t-tops and i have no clue what all this means and what should i do. ahhhh its drivin me nuts. lol. if you guys or gals could help i would love some answeres. aight byby yuns

If your 83 has a 305, then the 350 will drop right in. If it has a 700R4 auto trans, you'll want to get an 88-92 700R4 (they were better). If it has the 4 speed manual, the 350 will trash it. Try to get an 87+ WC T5 manual trans.
New seals are gong to be expensive for a T top car, check E bay. Check around on the net for a headliner, they are made of ABS plastic and covered in your choice of material color for around $140.

yeah i wish it had the 305 in it lol. mine was one of the poorer kind it has a 2.8 v6. im ashamed lol. i want to beef it up some how. any suggestions.....

In that case a 350 will be a bit more work and money, V8 springs, new trans, possibly differential, shocks, engine mounts, and possibly a torque arm if you don't have one...and that's just for starters.
Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do for the V6 to get real power out of it.

www.hawksthirdgenparts.com has alot of parts, but not real cheap. but i would consider looking there. good luck
