does a new koyo racing radiator add horsepower or is it just better for your engine

just better, doesn nothing for performance enhancement. it will keep the engine cooler, which in turn can feel like extra power, but it doesnt produce any hp.

unless you have major modifications that raise your engine temps higher, the stock radiator will work great at keeping temps down and low.

As was stated, a new radiator will help with cooling the car more efficiently, but it in iteslf won't add any more horsepower. Unless you are running a signifacntly bigger motor (like an H22 in a Civic) or there are other reasons why you need to increase the cooling efficiency of your motor (like racing, major power and modifactions, etc) there shouldn't be a need to install a thicker core radiator. Is there a reason you are looking into a thicker core radiator like Koyo?
