For the 2002 model year Mitsubishi have released a special power-up version of their EVO VII, called the FQ-300. According to Mitsubishi 'FQ' could stand for ‘flipping quick’ – or ‘fine quality’ – your choice. Compared to the EVO VII RS the FQ-300 has 8.4% more torque which results in improved flexibility in gear changing for improved responsiveness when overtaking. What about fuel economy and emission figures? It is sufficient to say emissions are legal.
