'05 A4 1.8T cold start hesitation

Hi all-

We just got a 2005 1.8T. When you first start it in the morning and head on your way, it's very sputtery, hesitates a lot. I recall my sister's 99 Jetta 1.8T doing this when she had it.

Any one else experience this? Just throw me some ideas, seeing as how the car has 500 miles on it, maybe it's just the way it is.
