Plugging BOV intake hole

alright in efforts to see how my car runs with an open bov i blocked off the recrurculation part of the stock bov and used an oil cap off an quart of oil clamped on with a ring clamp, but as soon as i hit like half boost, the bitch blew off and stalled my car and i had to roll my car to the side of the road and shove the recirculation hose back on, so my question for the guys who run open bov's, what did you use to block off the intake hole on the y pipe? thanks

Uhm... just unplug the recirc hose and leave it open.

I had gotten mine when I bought the Turbo X's RFL... and then I got another one when I bought the HKS SSQV. I'd go to www.3si.org and private message MYKISS69. He has a lot of used 3s's with many many parts. Good luck.

here's my suggestion, take the intake t-pipe out of your car, if you have a second car, take it, if not, have someone drive you to home depot, go to the plumbing section and buy a PVC cap that fits nice and snuggly up in there, and clamp it on tight. I have one to plug mine up for when i have to put my intake t-pipe back on the car for intake pressure testing. I use PVC piping for a lot of things in the intake for customization, and i haven't had anything pop off yet.

Try a film canister.
