High Heat Headlamps

I was wondering if anyone has had problems running high heat/ bright bulbs in their headlamps? Basically I am using 5000k Xenon bulbs in pretty decent aftermarket projector lamps( the lights I have (http://http://www.matrixracing.com/Browse_Item_Details.asp?HSD=1&Item_ID=4803) ). And after 9 months of use through the combination I've had problems with melting of the walls inside the chamber of the projector, where the bulb 'floats'. I'm not sure what I'm going to do to solve the issue yet, but I really don't want to lower the bulb brightness. But I've thought of maybe putting in a hybrid setup (headlamps made for hotter bulbs), or maybe rebuilding the internals of the current headlamps to withstand the heat by means of broading the projection chamber for heat dissipation. Thanks guys. (BTW my car has a B16A swap so the bulbs are electrified by a 99 civicSI alternator  )

Yeah well they're not luxury headlamps, what company would make a high quality light for a CRX? And thanks, maybe I'll switch to the HID.

cool :) i know i'll get HID soon, cuz they're nice n bright and look very cool with projectors :)

on www.autoaccessorystore.com they have an HID conversion kit that fits in the 9006 and 9005 housing. I think its $500 for a high quality pair of lights, i called em up the other day. I added that to my wish list ^_^
