Just a word to the wise. I recently bought two of these paints to try one blue one red and was told they should be ok over automotive paint as they are both supposidly laquer based................. oh no there not!!!!!!

I now have a bright blue infinity sat in dot3 with crazy paving on it. If you are going to use these then get the silver undercoat they also sell, I know I will be before I use the other half of the bottle, yes I said the other half as it needed that much to get a deep enough colour I was happy with. It all seemed like a good idea at the time. :disappoin

Alclad make transparent color ?!?

They make red, blue, yellow, green and smoke. They also have what they call "transparent medium" which is a clear solution to dilute the colors. I have heard the colors are intense.

I have the smoke but have not used it on anything...yet. marc

Did you take any pics before the body hit the Dot3 bath? What kind of automotive paint did you apply it over?

Most candy colors, even House of Kolor, take MANY coats to achieve desired results depending on what base color you use.
