Just Cruzin'n'Loosin

OK its New years day, My parents leave to go see some movie and shop in gainsville like 5:00. I have about an hour or so of sunlight and $20 for gas and a good 5-6 hours before my parents get back. So i grab the keys and hop in the forntier and take off.

I love Crusin around dusk. All you need is your lows beams, a 5 speed, and pink limonade. lol, and that's what i got. that and 2 deaths and 1 kill.

So im cruzin down 90 (a 4 lane road) and im getting green after green after green. its a safe road to speed on since yo ucan see up comming cops and there is no one out at all. i mean the town is dead. so i have the windows down and the stero cranked listening to my Zepplin CD "heartbreaker" and the solo is about to come up and i catch a red light. "damn it"

The light it taking for ever and there isnt even any traffic on the cross street im the only car at the light. Next thing i know some kid 18-19 pulls up next to me in an orange Nissan 350Z. Rims and exaust from what i can tell. im admireing the pretty curves of the coupe and think to my self "what a wonderful world...." wait no i mean.. "hell, why not"

So i give the 143hp i-4 some gas and bring it to 3,000.

So I hold it at 3,500 and the light goes green. He is obviously playing with me. im half way across the intersection before he even launches.
Im smileing from ear to ear and then he catches up to me, im 1st: 4,800 2nd: 5,000 3rd: 3,000 (looks over) (all the while im in the middle of "hearbraker's" solo)

The Next one i actually won. Im on 90 agian going in the opposite direction. this is a section with little or no stop lights ever. its 2 lane and i get stuck behind this mini van doing 40 in a 45 with everyone else doing 55 and next to a cadilac with some old lady doing the same. Hungry Howwies truck pulls up behind me, an old beat up ranger automatic from what i can tell.

I normally dont talegate but this was anoying so i ride the vans ass untill they speed up enough to allow my a passage way infront of the cadi toget around it. i down shift to 3rd, signal, changlanes, floor it, change lanes agian. get up to 60 cruzin.

now Mr. Hungry howwies tries to pull a fast one, 30min or its free, right?
he tries to pass the van and me doing about 75. i want to play. after he passes me i go into the left lane and get next to him. give him the stare down.

So we drop down to 35mph and we roll down the windows

Now im a good 11/2 lenghts ahead
3rd: 4,800
Now im 4 ahead
4th: 4,200 and just over 100mph i look back and he turns on his wiper i throw on my flashers.

I slow to 55 and drop it in over drive

He catches up and does a ricer flyby and on his way by he is like :jump3: as if he beat me.... i tried to accelerate but i was in 5th and didnt feel liek giving him my time to downshift.

Next. Im headed home. I ditched Led Zepplin for D12. lol

Im out of pink limonade and i stoped to replace the gas i burned and i used up all my cash on gas so i couldnt buy another bottle. so im pissed, but this one made my day. a Later modle Z28 pulls in the pump behind me. im not a comaro fan but this one had a distictive sound to it that made me wet my shorts. i watch as he filles up. Premeium.
Jokinly I say "That Thang Goda Hemi?"
This guy seemed kool and kidded with me instead of acting like i was a dumbass. "Nah, Supa Crged LS1, i aint got nuff money fo' a Hemi" we laugh and i tell him to pull over into one of the parking spaces by the convience stores. He gladly obliged, another chance to make a teenager drool. He pops it. Vortec Cyntrifical Superchager 8PSI, New Manifold, Chrome Headers, exaust, and all the fixings on the side. 100% eye candy. we pay for our gas and i would have offered him a pink limonade but of corse i was out of cash.

I tell him i would be honored to loose to this car. he laughs and says most people get pissed. I ask if he would like to race. He says sure why not. there is a 4 lane intersection about 4 miles away. i tell him not to fool with me. give it all its got.

I turn on "My Band" and the race is on.

The light turned yellow on the cross street and i rev to 3,600 hoping to get a good launch (but of course didnt) and he brings it up untill the front of the car beginsto rock. RAW POWER. im sory, i love imports but a supercharged LS1.... wow.

there was some traffic that had pulled in behind us, mush have been like

The light goes green and i get a squeal. he ofcourse is killing the rear tires. but the time im in 2nd ive heard him shift 2 times and he is 5 lengths ahead of me. but the time im in 3rd he is buses ahead of me and throws on his flashers. i catch up give him the thumbs up. he rolls down the window and says "nice try" gives me the thumbs up and i head home.

That was a night of wonderfull races. the whole town needs to get a hand over more often.

I got spanked by a 350Z and a supercharged Z28. But i did bead an automatic beat up old ford ranger. and i drank 3 bottles of pink lemonade in the process.

LOL, i love that song. I hate eminems new liberal BS such as toysoldier but his old "I jsut dont give a F***" stuff is pretty funny. all of his light hearted stuff is great cruzin music. I know my music intests are far an few between. I like some rap and alot of Rock including old stuff, some alternative, metal (some death metal but not alot), and the thole Retro rock thing. i love Jet. I also like Reggae (I would say RIP bob marley but i know that somewhre in the ocean canves of the caribian Bob Marley, Elvis Prestly, Jim Morison, and TuPac are smoking out, drinking Rum punch and red wine all day long) and some of the rock/island stuff, mostley Jimmy Buffett only because ive grown up listening to Jimmy Buffett. but then agian i also grew up listening to Pink floyd and 80's pop but i dont like either (well some pink floyd is good, most is stoner music)... hmmmmm.....

yea, Jet is great. I like Radio Song, and Are You Gonna Be My Girl. Of course, Cold Hard Bitch is good, too. Anything classis rock I like. I also like hair band groups, new rock, d some diDisturbed...

Nice kill and deaths...I'm not a huge fan of all these liberal bands and what not, but I get over it for the most part (Perfect Circle, Eminem...I actually kinda like toy soldier). I usually just skip the uber lib songs...But again, nice kills and deaths. I meant to put this in the 'Type R ownz joo00' thread, but I know how ya feel about the Camaro death...on the way hom the other night, me and my buddy raced a WS6 with a custom liscense plate-57SCLS1...man that thing was loud.
