The idle...

Well, my ISC (Idle Speed Controller... or Idle Air Controller, whatever you want) was really in bad shape. So I slapped in a new one. Now, of course since the old one was flipping out I had to have my BISS at some really funky setting. Well, the screw still works, but at it's lowest point (where I think it's about to fall into the throttle body) my idle is still at like 1300 RPMs. So... I'm 99% sure I just need to manually reset the idle. I've done it on other cars, just a matter of grounding/bridging the right wires with some alligator clamps...
But...
How the hell do you do it on a VR4???

there will be a large oval connector in the top centre of your firewall, remove the cap and there will be a pink centre pin and a narrow brass connector, ground that, there should be a connector next to the fuse box, it is the 3rd pin from the top on the left column. the second pin on mine doesn't exist.
ground that to something too and you should be all set

Mine is not the VR-4 but it idles at 1000 when you start it cold and then 800 when its warm. How much did the Idle speed controller thingie cost you? I might need to buy one soon too.
