I have a 01 Ranger and just did a brake job up front (which consisted of new pads and rotors). My problem is now I have a shake in the front end at low speed when turning right or left. I feel it in the steering wheel it will move the steering wheel in my hands.

Everything else is fine, good firm brake pedal and when brakes are applied the truck stays straight no pull right or left.

that's wierd, are you sure that the new rotors sat in all the way and that the calipers were tightened down all the way?

HA,HA,Ha, Pull both front wheels off...one rotor is not sitting completly flush on the hub...Piece of debris behind rotor won't let it bolt up flush....Check all bolts, nothing should be loose. Just spin the rotors, you will see witch one wobbles slightly, clean and put back on... Later, Mark.

I pulled both tires and checked everything, it all looked good. Put it back together and now it is fine. I'm sure one of the rotors was not seated properly but I could not tell.

Thanks for the help.

Did you have your rotors turned before you put them on? My son bought his rotors and then had to have them turned at another shop. Just a thought
