how can i know if i have a windsor or cleveland

i dont know how to tell if my mustang has a 351 windsor or cleveland, also, if you can put some budget tips of how to add some horsepower, id aprecciate

Its pretty easy. 351c's don't have a water passage cast into the intake manifold, it comes straight up from the block to the left of the distributor(passenger side). Here are a few pictures:
351w, note the thermostat housing and water crossover:

Also, clevelands have a different number of valve cover bolts. Clevelands have 8 while Windsors have 6. Another way is the windsors have a bolt on aluminum timing cover, while clevelands have the cover cast into the block with a plate(piece of thick sheet steel) as a cover.

If you don't have that big aluminum part on the front of the motor, you have a cleveland. Hope this helped.
